Selection Process

A squad of 10 players for both boys and girls will be selected to represent MacKillop at the NSWPSSA Basketball Championships.

The trial will follow a round-robin format, where each team plays four games against all Diocesan teams.
The trial will conclude with a Possibles vs. Probables game, but there will be no finals as the focus is on selecting the 10 best players.
The primary goal of these trials is to select a MacKillop team and provide a pathway to the NSWPSSA level.

Players will be evaluated throughout the day by:

  • Diocesan team managers
  • External basketball representatives
  • MacKillop team managers
