  •     Open to students from Catholic, Independent and Government school students
Why Aquathlon
  • Aquathlon is a multi-sport discipline combining swimming and running with a transition
  • Minimal cost and equipment needed

  • Swimming and running are fundamental sport and life long activities 
 Partnership 
  • Catholic Schools NSW has partnered with NSW Triathlon and the Bondi Running & Triathlon Club (BRAT) to provide school aged students of all abilities the opportunity to challenge themselves in a unique and fun event.

 Eligible schools
 Affiliated system schools and congregational schools to the Catholic Schools NSW. Independent and Government School students to be invited to attend with the permission of their school and sector.

 Age criteria
  •  8 years to 19 years 
  • Combined age groups i.e. 8/9 yrs, 10/11 yrs, 12/13 yrs, 14/15 yrs, 16 - 10 yrs
  • Combined Multi Class age groups 8 - 12 years, 13 - 19 years
 Event timings 
  •  First race 8.30am 
  • Last race concludes at approximately 2.30pm

Students may compete in 2 events - in the morning for qualifying times and in the afternoon in seeded finals.

 Timing chip collection
  Timing chip collection will close 45 minutes before the schedule start time of each age division
 What to Bring
  •  Swimming costume

  • Running vest/top (torso to be covered on the run course)

  • The above entry costs are payable via the Catholic Schools NSW Sport portal

 To register for Aquathlon - log into the CSNSW Sport portal and click 'Register for a Sport' 

Non affiliated Catholic Schools, Independent Schools and Government Schools - to register:

  • Parent/guardian to "Create an account" on https://csnsw.sport/ >> Add your child's profile adding CSNSW Sport as your school>> alongside your child's profile, click on the "Register For A Sport" button>> follow the prompts.
 Results Will be published upon completion of the event.
