Diving Requirement - Springboard
  • 8 and 9 Years boys and girls: 3 dives (1 dive @ 1.5 degree of difficulty or less, 2 dives with no limit on degree of difficulty)
  • 10 and 11 Years boys and girls: 4 dives (2 dives @ 3.6 degree of difficulty or less, 2 dives from 2 groups with no limit on degree of difficulty)
  • 12/13 Years boys and girls: 5 dives (3 dives from 3 groups @ 5.4 degree of difficulty or less, 2 dives from 2 groups with no limit on degree of difficulty)
Platform
  • Open Primary boys and girls: 4 dives (2 dives @ 3.6 degree of difficulty limit, 2 dives with no limit on degree of difficulty). Dives may be performed from 5m platform only.
What to Bring
  • Own Strapping tape
  • Water bottle
  • Lunch
  • Medication (e.g., Asthma inhaler)
  • Appropriate gear for competition
Further Representation A NSWPSSA team will be selected to attend the School Sport Australia Diving Championships. For more details, see the 'Further Representation' tab above.

8 and 9 Years (boys and girls): 3 dives
1 dive @ 1.5 degree of difficulty or less
2 dives with no limit on degree of difficulty

10 and 11 Years (boys and girls): 4 dives
2 dives @ 3.6 degree of difficulty or less
2 dives from 2 groups with no limit on degree of difficulty

12/13 Years (boys and girls): 5 dives
3 dives from 3 groups @ 5.4 degree of difficulty or less
2 dives from 2 groups with no limit on degree of difficulty
Platform Open Primary (boys and girls): 4 dives

Rules and Guidelines

NSW Department of Education Sport Safety Guidelines - Diving
Eligibility Students born 2014 - 2009 with diving experience may nominate for selection in the Polding Dive Team to compete at the 2022 NSWPSSA Diving Championships.
Selection Criteria 3 students per division will be selected based on experience, achievement, and coach's recommendations in their nomination.
Notification Successful students will be notified via email and progressed through the system on the website.

The format of the day will be at the discretion of the Convenor and Officials.
