uniforms and be briefed on processes should they be selected.

Multi-Class Entries are to be completed with the all team entries and are to be completed using the “Meet Manager Program”

All swimmers shall hold at least a provisional classification. Swimmers must appear on the Swimming Australia or Sport Inclusion Australia masterlist before attending. Please include their classification beside their name.

The following Long Distance events WILL be swum at the NSW All Schools Championships.
These are NOT swum at the NSWCCC Championships:

- Multi-Class 100m Backstroke – 12-15 and 16-19
Students must submit times that were swum at recognised events that can be verified on the Swimming NSW Website.
These nominations must be registered online using the below links by 27 April 2022
No late entries will be accepted for any reason. Successful swimmers will be notified by 12 May 2022

Protests
Protests in the first instance should be made verbally by the swimmer to the referee immediately. This should be done in a courteous manner. A written protest, if required, must be made by the Team Manager within 30 minutes of the conclusion of the race. It should be handed to the Convenor by the Team Manager who will be notified of the decision
- Once competitors are in the hands of the officials they may not receive advice or coaching
- Competitors are not to leave the water or lane until told to by the Referee

Lane Allocation
Lanes are allocated according to times. ALL events will be seeded prior to the carnival. Any teams that are not entered and received by the due date may miss out on this process and swimmers will be placed in events according to lane availability. This will also apply to any late changes or changes received on the day of the carnival

Entries for consideration as additional swimmer entries can be submitted by sending your backup file through to the Convenor. The results from your Diocese/Association event will be used to determine these, based on lane availability for each event.

Additional entries will only be considered from times swum at your Diocese/Association trials. Personal best times and times from swimmers who did not compete at your Diocese/Association trials will not be considered.
Incomplete entries will not be accepted.
TEAM MANAGERS MEETING
A team managers meeting will be held in the Shane Gould Room at 7.45am. An officials meeting will be held on the pool deck also at 8.10am. Prompt attendance at this meeting is essential
Changes
There will be no changes allowed on the day. This includes substitutions or additional swimmers.

Age as at 31st December in the year of competition
There is no restriction on the number of events a student may enter
Swimmers must compete in their own age group for all events
Divisions
Junior 12-14 years
Intermediate 15-16 years
Senior 17+ years
Multi Class Junior 12-15 years
Multi Class Senior 16-19 years
Senior Relays are Open Events.
Schools are allowed to swim their 4 fastest swimmers regardless of age.
Any swimmer who swims in the Senior Relays may not swim in either the Junior or Intermediate Relays in the same event
NSWCCC Team
Students who medal in events may be named in the NSWCCC Swimming Team. Due to COVID and Public Health Orders, the NSWCCC team will selected based on results at the NSWCCC Swimming Championships and submissions based on COVID Exemptions coming through the pathway
General Information
- Swimmers must report punctually to the marshalling area when indicated or called
- ALL events will be seeded prior to the carnival. Any teams that are not entered and received by the due date may miss out on this process and swimmers will be placed in events according to lane availability. This will also apply to any late changes or changes received on the day of the carnival
- Timed finals for all races will be taken over the two heats and compared. The three fastest swimmers will then be declared the placegetters for those particular events
- The 50m freestyle will still allow for two competitors per team and in this event four timed heats will be swum with the fastest three swimmers again being declared the placegetters Except for the 50m freestyle events, teams may only nominate one (1) swimmer per event.
- Additional swimmers may be nominated by Diocesan/Association representative to compete. These additional swimmers are NOT guaranteed a position but every effort will be made to include them
