|
- Organiser or school’s responsibility for collecting attendance records of students

Cohorting
|
- Consider scheduling events across multiple courts or playing spaces to minimise mingling and maximise ventilation.
- When not participating in their event, participants should sit with their cohort in designated areas where practicable.
- Seek parental consent, acknowledging and accepting the higher COVID transmission risk given the lack of strict cohorting.
- Discuss with venue sole use of facility, or how venue will avoid mixing groups outside cohort.

Hygiene
|
- Providing sanitising stations for all participants and attendees and displaying NSW Health messaging
- Cleaning of high touch areas and equipment between games
- Participants should bring own equipment (such as bats and gloves) for individual use where possible.
- Clarify roles and responsibilities of students, schools and venues for maintaining and encouraging hygiene.
- Consider adapting activities to be non contact eg hand shakes and high fives.

Masks
|
- Consider requiring masks indoors when not participating in sport and where physical distancing is not possible and contact is sustained.
- Mask wearing is mandatory for secondary school settings until 28 February, and for primary school settings until 7 March.

Physical distancing
|
- Spectators must adhere to any seating and designated area requirements set out by each venue.
- Adhere to physical distancing.

Reduced mixing and mingling
|
- Staggered competition and arrival times for parents/carers, spectators and participants where possible to reduce mingling.
- Consider asking participants to leave after their event.
- Participants should arrive at the venue ready to participate where possible to limit the use of change rooms.

Vaccination
|
- Consider limiting volunteers to fully vaccinated only. Check with venue requirements.

Ventilation
|
- Choose outdoor or well-ventilated venues. If indoors, open doors/windows to encourage ventilation.
- Consider the venue’s COVID safety measures and work with the venue to maximise ventilation.

Venue Measures
|
- Implement & adhere to the COVID – Safety measures offered by venues and providers
- Ensure COVID-Safety measures undertaken for each event is included in Risk and Safety management plan. Ensure strategies address and mitigate possible risks relevant to each venue and event.
