Quality Teachers Develop Quality Students in our CSBB System
***** UPDATE – Congratulations to Jack Kalms and Jake Medved from St Augustine's College who gained selection into the All Australian Boys Touch Team!!!!!!!!!!!
The future of Catholic Schools Broken Bay should be bright thanks to the current talent within our teaching ranks.
This week Stan Clarke from Mater Maria Catholic College Warriewood is representing NSW All Schools at the 2023 U15 Boys Touch School Sport Australia Championships in Darwin.
Stan has progressed through our school representative pathway commencing with his selection into the Mater Maria team and then progressing to the Broken Bay Diocesan Team and NSW CCC Team.
His Sports Coordinator, Mrs Karen Ingram, has followed his progress with a keen interest as she is a current member of the NSW Womens State of Origin and Sydney Scorpions NTLs team. She also recently gained selection into the Manly Warringah Representative Netball Team that will contest the NSW State Masters Championships.
Karen fully understands the benefits that these school sporting pathways provide - “Some of my greatest school memories were with representative pathways teams, the friendships established, the skill development I gained and the travel experiences”
Her involvement in Catholic representative pathway sports continued through her studying years at ACU and ultimately shaped her career decisions.
We are lucky to have such excellence within our teaching staff in our catholic schools who are developing the next generation of quality athletes and hopefully teachers for our future CSBB system.
Congratulations also to the following students representing NSW All Schools in Darwin -
