2026 BROKEN BAY RUGBY SEVENS CHAMPIONSHIPS

The CSBB Boys Rugby Championships brought excitement, skill and outstanding school spirit to Narrabeen at the end of June, with all seven of our boys' schools represented across both competition divisions (Under 14 and Under 16). The event provided students with a valuable opportunity to represent their school communities with pride, build friendships and experience the excitement of inter-school competition in a positive and supportive environment.

Players demonstrated determination, teamwork and sportsmanship in every match, reflecting each school’s efforts in ensuring adequate and safe rugby preparation in the lead up to the event. The championship titles were shared, with different schools claiming victory in each division. The spread of success highlighted the competitive balance of the tournament and the strong rugby programs being developed across the Diocese.

Catholic Schools Broken Bay extends its sincere thanks to NSW Rugby Union for its support of the championships. Their contribution of qualified referees ensured a high-quality competition experience, helping matches run smoothly and providing students with an authentic representative-level sporting environment.

The 2026 Boys Rugby Championships were a wonderful celebration of participation, excellence and community, highlighting the important role sport plays in developing resilience, leadership and teamwork among our students. Congratulations to all players, coaches, staff and officials who contributed to another successful championship event at Narrabeen.
