NSW All Schools Golf Championships Success
⛳ Outstanding Success for NSWCCC Representatives
Week 10 of Term 2 saw the NSW All Schools Golf Championships hosted by the Sydney North Region Sports Association at the stunning Magenta Shores and Shelly Beach Golf Clubs on the Central Coast.
Players were greeted with near-perfect conditions for the majority of the championship, setting the stage for some exceptional golf. Following the opening round, NSWCCC's leading male competitor was Blake Cranston (St Brigid’s Catholic College, Lake Munmorah), who produced a superb 5-under-par 67. For the girls, Kiara Connolly-Jackson (St Brigid’s Catholic College, Lake Munmorah) led the way with an impressive 74.
Day 2 brought more beautiful weather, and competitors took full advantage as they looked to strengthen their positions on the leaderboard. Shaylan Bennett (St Edward’s College, East Gosford) backed up his opening-round 74 with an excellent 71, while Kiara continued her strong form with a 72, placing her second overall.
Eight NSWCCC golfers earned places beyond the cut, including five students from Broken Bay. Those advancing were:

- Ava Prince (MacKillop Catholic College, Warnervale)
Unfortunately, the final day was heavily impacted by rain, and despite the best efforts of officials, the course was deemed unplayable. As a result, the championship was decided after three rounds, which also determined selection for the NSW State Team.
