Rugby League Achievement - Lahni Moore

Congratulations to Lahni Moore from St Joseph’s Catholic College, East Gosford, on her selection in the 2026 Australian Schoolgirls Rugby League Team, an outstanding achievement that recognises her talent, dedication and commitment to the sport.

The Australian Schoolgirls Rugby League program represents the highest level of the school representative pathway, providing talented young athletes with opportunities to compete at an elite level and progress towards future representative and professional rugby league opportunities.

Lahni has proudly represented Catholic Schools Broken Bay (CSBB) and the NSW Combined Catholic Colleges (NSWCCC) Rugby League teams over the past four years. Her selection in the Australian team during her final year of school is a fitting reward for her hard work, perseverance and passion for the game, as well as the support of her family, coaches and school community throughout her journey.

Adding to the significance of this achievement, Lahni was the only player from the NSWCCC team selected in the Australian Schoolgirls side following the recent championships in Coffs Harbour. Throughout the tournament, she demonstrated exceptional leadership, skill and sportsmanship, leading the NSWCCC team both on and off the field with maturity, character and professionalism.

Lahni’s achievement is a source of great pride for St Joseph’s Catholic College, East Gosford, Catholic Schools Broken Bay, and the wider rugby league community. She is an exceptional role model whose success reflects the values of dedication, resilience and excellence.
