Selection Criteria

Students should have previously represented the Diocese for touch and/or represented at a club, Hornets or State level eg Maitland Redbacks, Newcastle City, Nelson Bay Neptunes, Wallsend Wolves etc

If you cannot progress to NSWCCC Carnival on 21st & 22nd April 2026, do not attend this trial.

If you do not meet the criteria, your school sport coordinator will not approve you to attend.

Age groups:   15 YRS – must not turn 16yrs in the year of competition

OPENS - must not turn 19yrs in the year of competition

Registration Process

Online on the csnsw.sport website. You MUSTsee your school sport coordinator prior to registering for information and instructions. Please ensure you complete all fields especially playing position and experience. Once registered the website will generate an email to your school principal/sport coordinator for them to approve. Your registration must be approved by your school principal before you can attend the trials. Please follow up if this is not done. If you do not meet the criteria/standard for this trial, the sport coordinator/principal will not approve your registration.

Cost

$20 per student to be paid when registering online. Please note this is non-refundable. Please do not register without seeking approval from your sports coordinator as you may not meet the criteria.
