There are no regional trials for Rugby Union. Boys and Girls are selected at the school level to progress to the diocesan trials.
See your school sport coordinator for eligibility to nominate for this sport.

Criteria to Nominate
Please note these trials are for 11 & 12 yr old experienced, highly talented players currently involved with rugby union.

Students must also meet the size to age guidelines. An information page is on the website.

GIRLS: Girls can trial at the dio trials for Polding. They can also nominate for the rugby 7s via the csnsw.sport website. There is no dio trial for rugby 7s.

Registration Process for Diocesan Level

Online on the csnsw.sport website. Instructions on how to register can be provided by your school sport coordinator. Please ensure you complete all fields especially playing position and experience.

Once registered the website will generate an email to your school principal/sport coordinator for them to approve. Your registration must be approved by your school principal before you can attend the trials. Please follow up if this is not done. If you do not meet the criteria/standard for this trial, the sport coordinator/principal will not approve your registration.

Cost

 $15 per student to be paid to your school admin 1 week prior to the diocesan trial.
