Rugby 10's - Chris Gangemi Team Qualifier
The CSBB Primary Rugby 10’s Chris Gangemi Team Qualifier brought together students from across the Diocese for an exciting day of competition, teamwork and sportsmanship. As the qualifying event to determine Broken Bay’s representative team for the NSW Catholic Primary Schools (CPS) Finals in August, the stakes were high and the standard of rugby was outstanding.
For the first time in many years, multiple schools entered teams, creating a vibrant and highly competitive tournament. Played in perfect weather conditions, the event showcased the skill, determination and enthusiasm of all participating students.
A special thank you to the school staff and parent coaches who generously shared their time and expertise in preparing students for the competition. We also acknowledge the support of NSW Rugby, who provided referees and helped ensure the day ran smoothly.

Congratulations to St John the Baptist, Woy Woy, who were undefeated and will proudly represent Broken Bay at the NSW CPS Finals in Narrabeen on 24 August. We wish the team every success as they take on the best primary school rugby teams from across the state.
