Type of Event

Individual Stableford. Stableford scores will be calculated based on players handicaps.

Stableford scoring is a unique system in the game of golf that challenges traditional stroke play. Instead of counting the total strokes taken on each hole, it focuses on earning points based on the number of strokes relative to par.

The Stableford Scoring System is an alternative method of scoring in golf that awards points based on a player’s performance relative to the par of each hole. Instead of simply counting strokes, players receive points for their net score on each hole. The objective is to accumulate as many points as possible during the round, with the winner being the player with the highest total score.

Calculating Points:

In Stableford, points are awarded based on the following criteria:

  • Albatross (3 strokes under par):5 points
  • Eagle (2 strokes under par):4 points
  • Birdie (1 stroke under par):3 points
  • Par:2 points
  • Bogey (1 stroke over par):1 point
