Polding Winter Trials
2026 NSWCPS POLDING (PRIMARY) WINTER SELECTION TRIALS –
RUGBY LEAGUE, SOCCER, NETBALL AND HOCKEY
On May 1, Broken Bay Primary students travelled to Bathurst to represent their schools and Diocese in the sports of Rugby League, Soccer, Netball and Hockey at the NSWCPS (Catholic Primary Schools) Polding selection trials. For the first time our students had equal gender opportunities across all sports with the introduction of Boys Netball and Girls Rugby League this year. Our students displayed their skills and teamwork, and we achieved some amazing results! Overall, we had 30 Broken Bay students selected to represent Polding at the NSWPSSA championships over the coming terms – 5 for Hockey, 7 for netball, 8 for Rugby League and 10 for Football.

2026 Netball – pathway umpires
Archie M (St Leo’s) and Olivia K (MacKillop) represented Broken Bay as Secondary pathway umpires at the Polding trials and were both selected to join the Polding teams as their representative umpires for the NSWPSSA championships.
