Broken Bay Sees Amazing Results at PSSA Athletics Championships
A huge congratulations to four of our Broken Bay students who have recently medalled at the NSW Primary School Sport Association (PSSA) Athletics Championships.
James Mikan and Jake Wood both won gold in the Senior Boys Long Jump and Senior Boys 200m sprint respectively. Rain Ross and Ben Sullivan both won bronze in the Junior Girls Long Jump and the Junior Boys Discus respectively.
All four students will now represent NSW and their schools at the School Sport Australia Track and Field Championship in Hobart from the 23rd to 27th of November 2023.
James has also been selected as one of only two boys in NSW in his age group to compete in the “Combined Event” which involves accumulating points score in 100m, Long Jump, Shot Put and 800m.
