Brilliant Broken Bay Selection Success
2024 looks like being a super year for Catholic Schools Broken Bay (CSBB) representative sport pathway success if the recent Polding Basketball and Tennis event in Coffs Harbour is any indication.
Thirteen CSBB students gained selection last week in Coffs Harbour.
Congratulations to -

Thank you to Andrew Spencer (Corpus Christi, St Ives) and Deb Northey (CSBB Office) for their management of our students at the Basketball.
The new CSBB representative sports uniforms also looked great!
It was a terrific experience and lots of learning certainly took place -
- Some of our tennis athletes had never played on clay before so that saw growth in their skill repertoire regarding the bounce of the ball that they can now apply to future tournaments.
- Also at the tennis we had our first ever wheelchair athlete trial for an able bodied sport and although he didn’t gain selection, the learning opportunity for both him and all the boys involved at their first ever ‘run and roll’ event was an invaluable and unique one in so many ways.
What a great start to 2024!
